Homeless kids have “spring fever”
Spring has arrived, bringing with it a mix of April showers and Florida sunshine! In light of this season change, the youngsters in Coalition for the Homeless’ licensed Daycare and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) classroom have been experiencing a special type of “spring fever.” Their weekly lesson themes have been dedicated to springtime topics.
During their flowers and gardening week, the children made flower paintings and paper plate sunflowers.
They also created personalized flower pots, in which they later planted flower seeds. Decorating the flower pots may have left behind a mess of stickers, jewels, and marker, but the final products are colorful works of art sure to catch your eye…
