Mad Cow Theatre play benefits the Coalition

Do you love the performing arts? If so, what if you could see a wonderful play while supporting Coalition for the Homeless at the same time?

Well you are in luck! This Thursday, December 2nd, Mad Cow Theatre is hosting a Community Giving Night to benefit the Coalition. As part of their mission of “promoting, enhancing, and celebrating the human condition,” Mad Cow Theatre is making their 14th Season one of “giving back” to not-for-profits in Central Florida by donating 20% of their ticket sales for a specific performance to a local non-profit. The Coalition is extremely grateful to our friends at Mad Cow Theatre for selecting us as one of the non-profits they are supporting this season.

If you have not had the opportunity to see a play at the Mad Cow Theatre, you are really missing out! Below is the summary of She Stoops to Conquer, which is running now through December 19th . We invite you to come and see on December 2nd.

This boisterous comedy of mistaken identities has delighted audiences for over two centuries with its gorgeous language, elegant costumes, and outright hilarity. Sparks fly when young urbanite Charles Marlow arrives at a country estate to court Kate Hardcastle, only to take her father for an innkeeper and her for a saucy barmaid! Good-natured hijinks and grand pretensions abound in this frothy romp that pits town against country and parent against child.

While you’re there, please stop by the Coalition’s information table and say hello!
